Parents whose children attend any sport nursery that is registered with the Regulatory
Authority for Sports, are entitled to benefit from the Tax Rebate Scheme.
Tax Rebate Assistance through CFR endorsed by SportMalta:
Parents may benefit from a maximum of âŽ300 tax rebate on their FS3 tax return, for
each child attending a sport organization training programme.
Documentation:
Parents are required to notify the respective sport organization should they wish to
benefit from the tax rebate scheme. The below details must be provided to the
respective sports organization:

âĒ Parent first name
âĒ Parent ID (Tax ID)
âĒ Parent Email Address
âĒ Parent Contact Number
âĒ Child Last Name
âĒ Child First Name
âĒ Child DOB
Any missing or incorrect details will result in the ineligibility of the parent to benefit
from the tax rebate.
The sports organization shall send the list of all parents who would have successfully
paid the respective membership and provided the details to benefit from the tax rebate
scheme to SportMaltaâs representatives â by sending the list by means of an e-mail to
assistances.sportmalta@sportmalta.org.mt.
Eligibility:
Sports organizations not registered with the Regulatory Authority for Sports, are not
eligible for this scheme. Moreover, the registered sports organizations must hold a valid
SLC certificate , to adhere to SportMaltaâs compliancy requirements.
Submission Timeframe:
The sport organization shall send the list of membership payments received during a
particular year, by not later than the prescribed deadline. Sport organizations must
abide by this deadline as SportMalta is bound to send the full list to the tax authority by
the deadline imposed by the tax authority.
