On the 11th of October, Kirkop Primary School hosted a successful Sports Day as part of the SportMalta School Sports Day celebrations. The entire school actively participated in a series of fun and engaging activities, designed to promote physical fitness and teamwork.
The day followed a well-structured timetable for all the primary school students. A total of 136 students, along with their teachers and support staff, took part in the dayâs activities.
Six sports stations were set up, with four stations remaining consistent for all groups and two stations adapted according to the students’ age groups. The activities included skipping rope, walking on stilts, relay races, the popular “Steal the Tag” game, an obstacle course, and a penalty shootout.
The event was a wonderful opportunity for students to enjoy physical activity in a fun and supportive environment. It reinforced the importance of fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship, all while fostering a sense of school spirit and enjoyment among the children.
