On Friday, October 11, 2024, St. Paul’s Bay Primary School participated in a vibrant SportMalta School Sports Day, dedicating an entire hour to physical education. The event aimed to engage students in active lifestyles while fostering community spirit and collaboration.
The day’s activities were organized by year groups to maximize participation and enjoyment. Year 5 and Year 6 students embarked on a community walk to the Aquarium and back, promoting fitness and environmental awareness. Meanwhile, Year 3 and Year 4 classes strolled to Bugibba Square, also returning to school, while Year 2 students enjoyed a scenic walk to Gillieru, followed by mass movement activities in the hall.

For younger students, Year 1 classes walked to Wignacourt and engaged in coordinated activities in the hall, while Kinder 2 took a short walk around the school, concluding with mass movement exercises. Kinder 1 students explored their school yard, rotating through various engaging stations designed to keep them active and entertained.

Overall, the SportMalta School Sports Day at St. Paul’s Bay Primary successfully highlighted the importance of physical activity in education, encouraging students to embrace a healthier lifestyle while strengthening their connections with the community.
