This year’s SportMalta Schools Sports Day was held on the San Ġwann football ground, forming part of the European Week of Sport and the #BeActive campaign. The event featured a range of fun and engaging activities designed to promote physical activity, teamwork, and sportsmanship among students.
The Schools Sports Day took place successfully, with activities spread across nine numbered stations, each clearly marked with instructions and illustrations. Class teachers led each station, explaining the tasks, while students rotated between activities with the support of their Learning Support Educators (LSEs).
Students had the opportunity to practise fundamental movement skills, participate in friendly competition, and enjoy a positive and inclusive sporting atmosphere.
The event truly captured the spirit of the #BeActive campaign, inspiring students to move, play, and stay active together.
#BeActive – promoting fitness, fun, and friendship through sport!
