The Gudja Local Council recently organized a community event, “Sport for Active Kids and Sports for All Ages,” in the town’s main square. The event aimed to promote physical activity and encourage community members of all ages to stay active and engaged through various sports activities.
The event catered to children, offering fun and energetic activities designed to get them moving and develop fundamental skills. These activities, set up in different stations, encouraged teamwork, coordination, and fitness in an enjoyable way. Children participated in games such as relay races, mini football matches, and obstacle courses, which kept them entertained while promoting physical well-being.
In addition to activities for children, the event also featured sports for adults and seniors, making it inclusive for all age groups. Participants had the opportunity to try a variety of sports such as badminton, table tennis, and light exercises like yoga and stretching. This allowed families to participate together and fostered a strong sense of community spirit.
The event was a success, with residents of all ages actively taking part and enjoying the day’s activities. By organizing such inclusive sports events, Gudja Local Council continues to promote a healthy, active lifestyle for its residents and strengthen community bonds.
