


On 15th October 2025, Gozo College Nadur Primary proudly hosted the SportMalta Schools Sports Day, part of the European Week of Sport and the #BeActive campaign. This annual national event promotes physical activity, teamwork, and fun among students, while fostering a sense of community within the school.
The school worked hard to generate enthusiasm among both students and staff, making the day a highly anticipated and enjoyable occasion.
This year, Year 3 and Year 6 students participated, with a total of 58 pupils taking part. The activities ran from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., providing a fun-filled three-hour session packed with energy and excitement. Students enjoyed a wide range of games, agility courses, team-building exercises, and collaborative challenges, highlighting the importance of cooperation, healthy competition, and enjoyment in sport.
For Gozo College Nadur Primary, the SportMalta Schools Sports Day is more than just a national initiative, it marks the official opening of the schoolâs annual sports program, bringing movement, smiles, and a sense of togetherness to the school community.
The school expressed gratitude and looks forward to continuing this tradition in future years, making it one of the most memorable and anticipated highlights of the school calendar.
