The Gudja Local Council organized a vibrant European Week of Sport Event today, bringing together children and the community for a morning of fun and physical activity.
The event took place from 10 AM to 12 PM in front of the primary school, attracting children aged 3 to 13. The participants were divided into two groups: one for children in kindergarten to 7 years old, and another for those aged 8 to 13.

Teachers and coaches led the children through a variety of traditional games such as lakstu, bocci, and passju, as well as physical activities including agility exercises. The event aimed to promote physical activity and community spirit among the young participants.

Each child received a Beactive T-shirt and bottle as a memento of the event. The presence of the Mayor added a special touch to the occasion, highlighting the importance of community engagement and support.
The Gudja Local Council expressed their gratitude to all participants, teachers, coaches, SportMalta and the Mayor for making the event a resounding success.
