On Friday, 11th October 2024, SCC Sir Adrian Dingli, Pembroke Secondary School, participated in the SportMalta School Sports Day 2024, an event organized by SportMalta. This exciting event was open to Year 7 students, with eleven classes, around 200 students in total, taking part.
The event was designed as a rotational system, where students moved through various stations featuring different physical activities. These activities were carefully selected by the Physical Education Department to test a range of fitness components, such as speed, coordination, reaction time, and agility. Some stations also focused on target throwing and jumping skills, allowing students to showcase their abilities across a broad spectrum of physical challenges.
Students were accompanied by their class teachers, with guidance from the physical education teachers. The event, which spanned two lessons, was filled with energy and excitement as students engaged enthusiastically in each activity.
The SportMalta School Sports Day 2024 was a great success, with students enjoying the chance to be active while developing important physical skills. The event provided a fun, healthy environment that encouraged teamwork and physical fitness, making it a memorable day for everyone involved.
