As part of the European Week of Sport, SportMalta in collaboration with Mosta Basketball Club successfully hosted a Basketball Camp, bringing together young athletes from across Malta for an unforgettable learning experience.
The camp provided participants with the opportunity to develop their basketball fundamentals through expert coaching, skill-based drills, and fun competitive games. Sessions focused on ball handling, shooting, defense, teamwork, and game understanding, with special emphasis on discipline, respect, and sportsmanship.
Beyond technical development, the camp also promoted the key values of the #BeActive campaign, encouraging children and youths to stay engaged in regular physical activity, adopt healthy lifestyles, and enjoy the social benefits of sport.
The Basketball Camp created an inspiring atmosphere where players not only improved their basketball skills but also built friendships and confidence, living the true spirit of the European Week of Sport.
