On Friday, 11th October 2024, St. Theresa College Middle School Birkirkara (Taâ Paris) celebrated the SportMalta School Sports Day with a variety of fun and engaging activities. Throughout the day, all students participated in events such as an Obstacle Course Race (OCR) and Basketball Shootouts, fostering an energetic and competitive atmosphere.
The highlight of the day was a special visit from local football stars from the Menâs Birkirkara Football Club. The players interacted with the students, engaging them in conversations, entertaining them, and even playing football together. Students were thrilled to have the opportunity to meet their local sports heroes, play alongside them, and get their shirts signed, making the day even more memorable.
The event was organized by Ms. Sharon Salerno, Mr. Ivan Attard, Ms. Marilyn Grech, Mr. Gosef Mizzi, and Mr. Joseph Steward. Their efforts ensured the day was a huge success, promoting physical activity, teamwork, and school spirit. The SportMalta School Sports Day created lasting memories for the students, reinforcing the importance of sports and active living in a fun and interactive way.
