Maria Regina College, Stefano Zerafa Naxxar Middle School, enthusiastically joined the European School Sports Day, part of the European Week of Sport and the #BeActive campaign. Around 400 students participated in a morning filled with physical activity, teamwork, and cultural unity.
The event featured a variety of team-building challenges and traditional games, promoting cooperation, fair play, and enjoyment through physical education. A highlight of the day was the participation of students from different nationalities, who learned and played side by side, showing how sport can unite individuals regardless of background, language, or culture.
Students built confidence, developed social skills, and appreciated the importance of staying active for a healthy lifestyle.
The day was a celebration of movement, inclusion, and community, demonstrating how sport can bring young people together while reinforcing the values of respect, teamwork, and cultural understanding.
