As part of the European Week of Sport, Vittoriosa Primary School proudly participated in the SportMalta Schools Sports Day 2025, joining schools across Malta and Gozo in celebrating the importance of physical activity, teamwork, and fun under the #BeActive campaign.
To promote these values, students from Years 4, 5, and 6 took part in a day filled with exciting activities and team challenges. Organised by the schoolâs PE teacher, the event included favourites such as tug of war, three-legged races, and wheelbarrow races, which brought plenty of laughter and friendly competition.
Students also enjoyed a circuit challenge, where they worked in groups to design and complete fitness circuits that tested endurance, agility, and coordination. Larger team games like dodgeball and capture the flag added even more excitement, giving students the chance to use their communication and teamwork skills in a fun and supportive environment.
Teachers joined in on the action too, helping and cheering alongside the students, creating a wonderful sense of unity and school spirit.
The day was a great success, full of energy, smiles, and sportsmanship. Vittoriosa Primary Schoolâs Sports Day truly reflected the spirit of #BeActive, showing how sport can bring people together, encourage teamwork, and promote a healthy, active lifestyle for all.
