“What if every student could #BeActive and celebrate sport to kick off a lifetime of health?” This question became a reality on Friday, September 29, 2023, when our Junior School, along 50 schools, came together to participate in the SportMalta Schools Sports Day 2023.
The day was all about promoting physical activity and encouraging students to embrace a healthy and active lifestyle. The students embarked on a variety of exciting activities that made them move, smile, and celebrate the joy of sports.
One of the highlights of the day was the “Walk a Mile” challenge, where students took to their feet and walked together, promoting the simple yet effective act of walking as a way to stay active. They also engaged in a fitness and dance workshop, where they grooved to the beats and learned how to keep fit while having fun.
Moreover, the students tackled various fundamental skills obstacle courses, which not only tested their physical abilities but also fostered teamwork and determination.
The SportMalta Schools Sports Day 2023 was more than just a day of fun and games; it was a step towards a healthier, more active future for all the participating students. It demonstrated that being active and celebrating sports is not just for today but for a lifetime of health and happiness.
