As part of the SportMalta Schools Sports Day, Attard Primary School kicked off the day with an energetic morning assembly that brought the school community together through music, stretching, and dance.
The session was prepared and led by the schoolâs Physical Education (PE) and Religion, Social and Personal Development (RSP) teachers, who encouraged pupils to participate in a fun and engaging movement session. Through simple exercises and dance, children had the opportunity to get moving, improve their coordination and enjoy an active start to their school day.

The activity highlighted how incorporating physical movement into everyday school routines can contribute to pupilsâ physical wellbeing while creating a positive and inclusive atmosphere. It also encouraged a sense of togetherness, bringing pupils and educators together to celebrate the benefits of being active.
Attard Primary Schoolâs initiative reflects the objectives of SportMalta Schools Sports Day, which encourages schools across Malta and Gozo to promote physical activity and highlight the importance of sport and movement in childrenâs daily lives.
