As part of the SportMalta Schools Sports Day, held on Monday, 19 October 2026, St Paul’s Missionary School celebrated the importance of sport and physical activity through a variety of engaging activities designed to encourage pupils to stay active and develop essential life skills.
Under the guidance of the school’s Physical Education teacher, pupils participated in parachute games, sack races, three-legged races, stilts, dribbling, and target shooting. The programme also included circuit challenges featuring hurdles, balance blocks, and jumping exercises, alongside team games such as dodgeball and capture the flag.

Through these activities, pupils had the opportunity to develop their physical fitness, coordination and agility while strengthening teamwork, communication, and perseverance. The games also encouraged fair play, mutual respect, and positive interaction in a fun and inclusive environment.
The initiative reflects the objectives of SportMalta Schools Sports Day, which encourages schools across Malta and Gozo to celebrate sport and promote the benefits of physical activity within the school community.
