The National Sport School in Pembroke joined the SportMalta School Sports Day celebrations on Monday, 19 October 2026, bringing students together through sport and physical activity while promoting the values of teamwork, encouragement, perseverance, and mutual respect.

The day featured a variety of sporting activities, including swimming sessions and indoor sports, giving students the opportunity to participate, develop their skills and enjoy the benefits of an active lifestyle. The activities encouraged students to challenge themselves, support their peers and demonstrate a positive attitude towards sport.

Throughout the event, enthusiasm and cooperation were evident, with students embracing the opportunity to participate and work together. The activities highlighted how sport can foster discipline, build confidence, and strengthen relationships, while creating an environment where students can learn and grow through shared experiences.

The initiative reflects the objectives of SportMalta School Sports Day, which encourages schools across Malta and Gozo to celebrate sport and highlight the importance of physical activity in studentsâ daily lives. Through initiatives such as this, schools play an important role in promoting healthy lifestyles and nurturing the values that sport instils in young people.
