Wara li saru n-nominazzjonijiet mill-assoċċjazzjonijiet u federazzjonijiet sportivi Maltin, issa saru magħrufa s-semi-finalisti tal-IsportMalta Awards – Għazliet Sportivi Nazzjonali 2017. Il-fażi tal-voti mill-ġurnalisti bdiet it-Tnejn li għadda u tagħlaq nhar it-Tlieta 23 ta’ Jannar 2018, biex imbagħad il-verdett finali jingħata waqt l-edizzjoni ta’ din is-sena tal-IsportMalta Awards – Għażliet Sportivi Nazzjonali.
Fil-kategorja Sportiv tas-Sena, is-semi-finalisti huma John Agius (Darts), Noel Baldacchino (Tiġrijiet taż-Żwiemel), Graham Borg (Triathlon), Gianluca Chetcuti (Sparar), Aaron Ciantar (Powerboats), Anton Cuschieri (Pool), Gary Giordmaina (Lotta), Duncan Micallef (Drag Racing), Andre Schembri (Football) u Mark Spiteri (Ten Pin Bowling)

SportMalta Awards – Għażliet Sportivi Nazzjonali 2017 semi-finalists announced.
Following nominations by Maltese sports associations and federations, the semi-finalists for the SportMalta Awards – Għażliet Sportivi Nazzjonali 2017 were announced on Monday. Sports journalists can now vote for their preferences till Tuesday 23 January, with the awards to be announced during this year’s edition of SportMalta Awards – Għażliet Sportivi Nazzjonali 2017.
In the Sports Man of the Year category, the semi-finalists are John Agius (Darts), Noel Baldacchino (Horce Racing), Graham Borg (Triathlon), Gianluca Chetcuti (Shooting), Aaron Ciantar (Powerboats), Anton Cuschieri (Pool), Gary Giordmaina (Lotta), Duncan Micallef (Drag Racing), Andre Schembri (Football) and Mark Spiteri (Ten Pin Bowling).
