SportMalta launches assistance schemes for 2025

SportMalta is pleased to announce the launch of its Assistance Schemes for 2025, aimed at bolstering the sports sector in Malta and supporting athletes, clubs, and organizations. These schemes include:

1. International Participation Scheme (IP):
   This scheme is designed to provide financial assistance to Maltese athletes and teams competing in international events. The IPS underscores SportMalta’s commitment to supporting local talent on a global stage.
2. Sports Tourism Scheme (STS):
   Aimed at promoting Malta as a premier sports tourism destination, this scheme assists organizations hosting international sports events in Malta, contributing to the development of the sports economy and the promotion of Maltese culture abroad.

Applications for both schemes are open now and will remain so until Monday, 9th December 2024.
