St. Joseph Senior School, Blata l-Bajda, organised a memorable SportMalta School Sports Day 2024 for its Year 7 students. In collaboration with SportMalta coaches, the PE teachers arranged special Swimming Day Sessions at the Tal-Qroqq Swimming Complex, providing students with an exciting opportunity to develop their swimming skills outside of the usual school setting.
The day began with an introduction to the SportMalta School Sports Day, where students were informed about its significance and the importance of physical activity. A team-building session followed, allowing the students to collaborate on creating artwork related to the event, fostering both creativity and teamwork.

At the swimming complex, students were guided through various swimming strokes and games by the coaches and teachers, improving their technique and confidence in the water. The session provided not only physical benefits but also an enjoyable and engaging way to participate in sports.
The event was a great success, allowing students to experience the value of sportsmanship, teamwork, and the benefits of staying active. The collaboration between the school and SportMalta made the SportMalta School Sports Day an enriching experience, leaving the Year 7 students with new skills and a deeper appreciation for physical activity.
