Under the slogan âBuilding a Fraternal World, Together â Let Us Get a Whole School Movingâ, Stella Maris College Junior School Malta celebrated SportMalta School Sport Day 2026 bringing students and staff together through a morning of physical activity and fun.

Around 288 students from Grades 3 to 6, together with approximately 50 adults from the Junior School section, took part in a one-mile walk, encouraging everyone to get active and enjoy the benefits of movement.

The walk was followed by a movement-to-music workshop delivered by one of the Grade 4 teachers, with the support of two Learning Support Educators. Students also enjoyed a variety of game stations and football exercises designed to strengthen teamwork, led by three coaches from Inter Academy Malta.

The event was organised by the school’s PE teacher, Mr Ramon Formosa, and coordinated on the day by the Junior School Leadership Team. It was a great success, with students enthusiastically supporting their classes through chants and enjoying the activities with smiles on their faces.

Through this initiative, Stella Maris College Junior School highlighted the importance of physical activity, teamwork, and community spirit, bringing the whole school together under the #BeActive message.
