During the second week of October, STC Achille Ferris Msida Primary participated in the European Week of Sports, engaging all students in a variety of fun games and sports activities. These events were coordinated by PE teacher Mr. Ayrton Attard, in collaboration with the class teachers, to promote the importance of physical activity.
The activities included a range of enjoyable challenges such as relay races, long jump, parachute games, hoop throwing, tic-tac-toe, skipping rope exercises, hockey relay races, and tug of war. Each game was designed to encourage teamwork, improve coordination, and highlight that staying active can be fun.

The event was spread out over two days to ensure that each class had ample time to participate in all the activities at each station. The students thoroughly enjoyed the sessions, which not only provided them with physical exercise but also emphasized the importance of integrating fitness into their daily routines in a fun and engaging way.
This event was a huge success, leaving students more aware of the benefits of physical activity while fostering a spirit of healthy competition.
