The Malta Tennis Federation kicked off a series of Open Days, inviting the public to enjoy an engaging day of tennis activities suitable for all skill levels. Held at the Marsa Sports Club, the event featured four distinct court stagesâred, orange, green, and hard ballâtailored to players from beginners to advanced athletes.
The Open Day welcomed participants ranging from toddlers as young as three to adults of all ages, creating a vibrant atmosphere of learning, fun, and physical activity. Local professional athletes were on hand to guide attendees, offering valuable tips to improve technical skills and promoting active lifestyles.
A highlight of the day was a showcase of top-tier tennis on the advanced court, where Maltaâs junior and senior players delivered impressive displays of skill. Attendees had the chance to meet Malta’s tennis sensation Francesca Curmi, who mingled with fans and posed for photos.
To encourage ongoing participation in tennis, attendees were provided with detailed information about Maltese tennis clubs and academies, opening doors to further training opportunities.
This family-friendly event marked the beginning of a promising initiative to promote tennis and active living across Malta, with more Open Days planned in the near future.
