As part of the SportMalta School Sports Day, STC St Theresa secondary school Imriehel organized a special activity for all Year 9, 10, and 11 students. The event aimed to promote physical health and well-being through a series of structured fitness activities. It began with a warm-up session to prepare the students for the day ahead, followed by three 30-minute fitness sessions tailored for each year group. These sessions included a variety of exercises designed to engage the students and promote active participation.

The event concluded with a cool-down, ensuring the students recovered properly after the activities. In addition to promoting physical fitness, the event also emphasized the cognitive and emotional benefits of exercise. Throughout the sessions, students were reminded of how regular physical activity can improve concentration, reduce stress, and boost mood. This holistic approach reinforced the importance of maintaining an active lifestyle, not just for physical health, but also for mental and emotional well-being.

The SportMalta School Sports Day was a great success, with students enjoying the activities while learning valuable lessons about the lifelong benefits of exercise for both body and mind.
