On October 11th, 2024, STMC Dun Karm Sant Tarxien Primary School hosted an energetic sports day that involved every year group from Kinder 2 to Year 6. The full-day event was structured into five unique stations, each offering different activities designed to engage students and promote physical activity. Students moved through each station, completing one activity before progressing to the next, ensuring that every child had the chance to participate in a variety of sports challenges.
The event was organized and coordinated by Mr. Nikolai Gatt, the schoolâs dedicated P.E. teacher, with invaluable support from class teachers and LSEs. This collaborative effort created a seamless experience for students, who enthusiastically participated in each activity. The energy and enjoyment were evident, and the event provided both students and staff with a fulfilling and memorable day.
The success of the day highlighted the importance of physical activity within the school curriculum, offering students a chance to develop fitness, teamwork, and sportsmanship in a fun and supportive setting. The entire school community, from the youngest Kinder students to the Year 6 pupils, came together to celebrate movement, health, and the joy of sport.
