On the 11th of October 2024, St Joseph School Blata l-Bajda Primary organized a lively Zumba session for the entire primary school, including students from kindergarten to Year 6. Led by instructor Elaine Schembri, the session aimed to promote physical fitness, teamwork, and mental well-being through a fun and energetic workout.
The session kicked off with a 3-minute warm-up, preparing the students for the main event. Students danced to upbeat music, following age-appropriate routines designed to be engaging and easy to follow.

Participation levels were high, with students from all grades showing enthusiasm and excitement. The session was inclusive, with modifications available for students of varying fitness levels and abilities. Despite space constraints and some visual challenges, such as the instructor being on ground level rather than on a stage, the event was a huge success.
Both students and teachers provided positive feedback, praising the energetic atmosphere. The session successfully encouraged physical activity and highlighted the importance of incorporating fun exercises into the school day to enhance overall well-being.
