Gozo College Agius De Soldanis Middle School participated in SportMalta School Sports Day on Monday, 19 October 2026, with around 100 Year 7 and Year 8 students taking part in a variety of sporting activities.
The activities took place during the midday break and the final two lessons, giving students the opportunity to step away from their usual classroom routine and enjoy an active and engaging experience.
The programme included football, volleyball, basketball, and handball, allowing students to participate in different sports while encouraging movement, cooperation, and interaction with their peers.
Through their participation, students were encouraged to enjoy physical activity and recognise the importance of sport in supporting an active and healthy lifestyle. The event also provided an opportunity to promote teamwork, participation, and the enjoyment of sport within the school community.
